Development of an MFL Coil Sensor for Testing Pipes in Extreme Temperature Conditions

چکیده
This paper aims to design a coil sensor for corrosion monitoring of industrial pipes that could detect variations in thickness using the MFL (Magnetic Flux Leakage) technique. An is designed and tested with pipe sample thicknesses 2, 4, 6, 8 mm based on magnetic field effect ferrite cores. Moreover, measurement setup analysing samples up temperature 200° Celsius suggested. Experimental results reveal can fulfil requirements testing high conditions, precision at temperatures be improved significantly.
